Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) conducted monitoring and evaluation (M&E) of more than 935 students receiving the KIP Kuliah scholarship for the even semester of the 2025/2026 academic year.
The Head of the Student Affairs Bureau at Universitas IGM, Anta Astika, S.T., M.T., stated that this periodic initiative was organized to assess the accuracy and optimize the utilization of educational aid funds by all recipients.
“We want to ensure that this government assistance truly has a direct impact on improving the quality of student learning on campus,” he said.
In practice, the Student Affairs Office divided the evaluation process into two separate sessions to ensure a smooth and orderly process: the first session for students from the 2022 and 2025 cohorts, and the second session for the 2023 and 2024 cohorts. Anta Astika explained that this division into groups was intentionally implemented so that the academic monitoring process and the delivery of learning motivation would be more effective and target specific groups.
“Time management and the grouping of cohorts are crucial so that we can provide more personalized and in-depth guidance tailored to the dynamics of each semester,” he emphasized.
In addition to conducting a comprehensive evaluation, the university also presented special awards to two students deemed to have demonstrated exceptional achievements. The awards were given to Wahyudin Abdullah from the Management Program in the non-academic achievement category, and Aulia Putri Arahma from the Architecture Program in the academic achievement category.
“This award is clear proof that financial constraints are by no means an obstacle for students to push the limits of their abilities,” he concluded. (andhiko ta)
