At least 1,500 new students at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) for the 2026/2027 academic year began the Campus Life Orientation Program for New Students (PKKMB) on Monday and Tuesday (September 14–15).
For the 2026 PKKMB, activities were held at two locations: the 3rd-floor auditorium in Building B and the 12th-floor auditorium in Building C on the Sudirman Campus in Palembang.
The Chair of the Universitas Indo Global Mandiri PKKMB Organizing Committee, Anta Sastika, ST, MT, emphasized that this program is designed to help new students adapt to the academic environment of the university.

Through this event, participants were introduced to the learning system, campus facilities, and the values of discipline and integrity upheld at Universitas IGM.
The opening of the PKKMB proceeded in an orderly and enthusiastic manner. Thousands of students from various degree programs gathered to receive orientation before the start of the semester. In addition to academic orientation sessions, participants also received instruction on character building, national awareness, and an introduction to student organizations on campus.

“Of course, we hope that new students will quickly adapt to the campus’s academic culture and be ready to make the most of their higher education,” he concluded. Well, Welcome to Universitas Indo Global Mandiri—Your Success Is Our Commitment (andhiko ta)
