Indo Global Mandiri University (UIGM) held a strategic meeting with the Regional Development Planning, Research, and Development Agency (Bappeda Litbang) of Banyuasin Regency to discuss the follow-up to the formulation of regional development cooperation.
The Head of Bappeda Litbang Banyuasin Regency, Dr. dr. Rini Pratiwi, M.Kes., FiSQua, explained that the main focus of the meeting was the development of the Village Assistance Program, which is expected to be a driving force for regional progress.

“Together with IGM University, we discussed various fundamental issues, ranging from mapping the potential of villages to strengthening the capacity of village government officials in managing administration professionally. One of the crucial points discussed was the importance of applying research results and innovations from universities to support accurate data-based development,” she explained.

With valid data, she continued, an integrated assistance program that combines education, research, and community service can be implemented in a measurable way. This assistance model is expected to address the real challenges faced by village officials in running government and public services.

“We want to ensure that every policy taken at the village level has a strong scientific basis so that the results are truly felt by the residents,” he concluded. (andhiko ta)
