A faculty member from the Faculty of Medicine (FK) at Indo Global Mandiri University (IGM), Dr. Yama Sirly Putri, M.Med.Sc., Sp.PK, has been selected as a speaker at the prestigious “2026 Korean Society of Hematology International Conference & 67th Annual Meeting.”
This event is a world-class medical conference bringing together blood specialists from various countries.
“Our presence at this forum is proof that the quality of medical research from South Sumatra can make a significant impact at the most competitive scientific forum in Asia,” she said.
Not only did she speak at the conference, but Dr. Yama also brought home the prestigious “Travel Award (Blue Dragon).” This award is selectively granted by the organizing committee to researchers deemed to have made significant contributions and whose research abstracts demonstrate exceptional quality, while also opening opportunities for international research collaboration for Indo Global Mandiri University.
This achievement further solidifies Indo Global Mandiri University’s position as an institution actively encouraging its faculty to pursue innovation and scientific publications on the global stage. Winning the Blue Dragon category award serves as a symbol of recognition for Dr. Yama’s dedication in the field of Clinical Pathology, particularly hematology.
