Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) and Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia (UTI) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to strengthen cooperation in the fields of education, research, and community service.
“We hope this partnership will bring tangible benefits to both institutions and mark the first step toward broader collaboration in the future,” said Vice Rector III Dr. Hj. Tien Yustini in Lampung (August 1).
According to him, this MoU serves as the foundation for the development of collaborative programs, ranging from strengthening education, joint research, community service, faculty and student exchanges, scientific publications, to innovations aimed at improving the quality of higher education. “We are optimistic that this collaboration will be sustainable and have a broad impact,” he said.
Meanwhile, Vice Rector and Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Business, Dr. Mahathir Muhammad, S.E., M.M., noted that “this collaboration serves as proof that academic synergies like this can address the challenges facing higher education in the future,” he said.
The signing ceremony took place in the auditorium of Building A at Universitas Teknokrat Indonesia and was attended by senior officials from both universities. Universitas Indo Global Mandiri was represented by Vice Rector III Dr. Hj. Tien Yustini, M.Si., CIRR., CLMA, accompanied by the Acting Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Dr. H. Chandra Satria, S.E., M.Si.; the Chair of the Management Study Program, Mohammad Kurniawan DP, S.E., M.Si.; and the Chair of the Accounting Study Program, Dr. Lukita Tripermata, S.E., M.Si., Ak., CA.
