The Rector of Indo Global Mandiri University (UIGM), Dr. H. Marzuki Alie, officially conveyed his congratulations and highest appreciation for the achievements of Prof. Darius Antoni, S.Kom., M.M., Ph.D., who has attained the highest academic rank as Professor.
During the inauguration ceremony on Thursday (13/2) in the 12th Floor Hall of the Sudirman Campus, Marzuki emphasized that the title of professor is a great responsibility that must be implemented through education, research, and innovative community service.
“Prof. Darius’ expertise in IT Governance and Service Management is expected to be a major driving force for the university’s future progress so that it can compete on the global stage,” he said.
He said that the university has high hopes that Prof. Darius Antoni will not only stop at administrative achievements, but will continue to be a pioneer in producing academic works that add value to the institution.
He emphasized that every work produced by a professor must have a broad and beneficial impact on the public, especially in responding to the increasingly complex challenges of information technology governance.
“This highest academic achievement must be a driving force for innovation that can elevate the dignity of the university and provide real benefits for the nation and state,” he said.
In addition to delivering academic messages, Marzuki Alie also personally paid tribute to Prof. Darius Antoni’s extended family, especially his wife, Nurikasari Gumayna. He said that Prof. Darius’s great success was inseparable from the extraordinary support of his wonderful wife behind him.
Interestingly, Nurikasari Gumayna herself is part of the university’s extended family as a student at UIGM, while their third son is also studying at SMA LTI IGM. This close emotional connection to the IGM educational environment is expected to strengthen Prof. Darius’ dedication to developing the institution. “The success of a husband is a reflection of the resilience and extraordinary prayers of his wife, so this achievement is a victory for the entire extended family who continue to provide support,” he concluded.
