The Rector of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM), Dr. H. Marzuki Alie, swore in nine new officials on campus, ranging from deans and program chairs to department heads at various institutions.
This swearing-in ceremony marks a fresh start for UIGM leadership. “We must carry out our duties to the best of our ability. That is all we can do,” said Marzuki during his remarks.
At the faculty level, Dr. Fauziah Afriyani, S.Pd., M.Si., was inaugurated as the Interim Dean of the Faculty of Economics for the 2024–2028 term. Among the heads of study programs, Dr. Badriyah Ulfah, S.Pd., M.Pd., serves as the Head of the English Language Education Study Program at the Faculty of Teacher Training and Education for the 2026–2030 term.
Yogie Ardiwinata, S.T., M.P.W.K., has been appointed as the interim Head of the Regional and Urban Planning Program at the Faculty of Engineering for the 2023–2027 term. Meanwhile, Dr. Peni Kusumasari, M.Biomed., AIFO-K, has been appointed as the Interim Chair of the Undergraduate Program at the Faculty of Medicine for the 2024–2028 term.
“Leading smart people requires good communication and a sense of togetherness,” she said.
Among the Vice Rectors III and the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM), Dr. Agustina Heryati, S.Kom., MM., M.Kom. was appointed as Head of the Career Services and Alumni Division for the 2026–2030 term. Dr. Isabella, S.IP., M.Si, has been appointed Head of the Research Division at the Institute for Research and Community Service (LPPM) for the 2026–2030 term.
“This is a responsibility that involves carrying out tasks where we often have to face many challenges,” she said.
Within the Faculty of Medicine, Dr. Bima Ryanda Putra, SpM, was appointed as Acting Head of the Quality Assurance Division at the Quality Assurance Institute (LPM) for the interim period of 2026–2029. Dr. Benor Amri Mustaqim, Sp.D.V., was appointed Acting Head of the Student Affairs Division for the 2026–2030 term. Meanwhile, Dr. Yama Sirly Putri, M.Med.Sc., Sp.PK, was appointed Acting Head of the Research and Community Service Division for the 2026–2030 term.
“Our challenge moving forward is to ensure that our academic programs don’t settle for mediocrity,” he said.
Marzuki also expressed his appreciation to all the officials who were willing to take on this new responsibility. “Thank you for your willingness to take on these positions, because not everyone is capable of doing so,” he concluded. (andhiko ta)
