Three lecturers from Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) officially received Decisions (SK) appointing them to the academic ranks of Senior Lecturer and Full Professor from LLDIKTI Region II.
The presentation of the first batch of 2026 Decisions took place at the LLDIKTI Region II Office in Palembang.
“An academic position is not the finish line, but rather the beginning of a greater responsibility,” said the Head of LLDIKTI Region II, Prof. Dr. Iskhaq Iskandar, M.Sc., while delivering remarks before the recipients of the Academic Position Decisions on Wednesday (September 30).
The three faculty members are Prof. Dr. Rendra Gustriansyah, S.T., M.Kom., MCP, who was promoted to Full Professor, as well as Dr. Yuliza, S.E., M.Si., CPHRM, and Dr. Endah Dewi Purnamasari, S.E., M.M., CFP, CIIQA, who were promoted to Senior Lecturer.
“We want other faculty members to see that this path is open to anyone who is dedicated,” said IGM Rector Dr. H. Marzuki Alie.
Iskhaq personally presented the official decree documents to the recipients—faculty members from various private universities in the South Sumatra region.
According to him, these promotions represent both a vote of confidence and a responsibility to enhance the quality of research, community service, and student mentoring. “The results must be felt in the classroom, the laboratory, and the community,” he said.
He expressed pride in this achievement. In his view, the promotion demonstrates the faculty members’ dedication to fulfilling the Tri Dharma of Higher Education, while also strengthening academic quality and program accreditation.
“May this inspire all faculty members to continue developing their qualifications, because a strong university is built on faculty who never stop learning,” he concluded. (andhiko ta)
