INKINDO South Sumatra – UIGM Signs MoU, Strengthens Synergy to Face Challenges in the Consulting Industry

The Indonesian National Association of Consultants (INKINDO) South Sumatra and the Faculty of Engineering (FT) of Indo Global Mandiri University (IGM) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on Thursday (11/20).

The signing of this memorandum of understanding was carried out as part of the 2025 INKINDO South Sumatra Provincial Working Meeting (Rakerprov). This collaboration aims to build synergy and improve consultant governance, as well as prepare for the INKINDO National Conference (Munas) in 2026.

The signing of the MoU involved four leading higher education institutions, namely Sriwijaya University, Indo Global Mandiri University, PGRI Palembang University, and IBA University.

On behalf of UIGM, the MoU was signed by Dr. Hj. Tien Yustini, S.E., M.Si, representing the Rector of UIGM, accompanied by the Dean of FT UIGM, Dr. Ing. Utari Sriwijaya Minaka, S.T., M.Eng. The Chair of the South Sumatra INKINDO DPP, Ir. Erza Nandana Sembiring, S.T., M.T., welcomed this collaboration, seeing it as a crucial step in advancing the consulting services industry in the region.

The 2025 INKINDO South Sumatra Provincial Working Meeting was held as a strategic moment to strengthen organizational solidarity, improve the governance of consulting services, and prepare the organization’s role in facing the national agenda.

“This Provincial Working Meeting is expected to produce various recommendations, policies, and programs that can address the challenges of the consulting industry amid regulatory dynamics, business competition, and digital transformation,” said the Chairman of the South Sumatra INKINDO DPP, Ir.
