Rudi Heriansyah, S.T., M.Eng., Ph.D. is currently a Senior Lecturer and the Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Indo Global Mandiri, Palembang, Indonesia. Prior to that he was a Senior Lecturer and the Head of Computer Engineering Technology Section, Malaysian Institute of Information Technology at the Universiti Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. He was also an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, Umm Al-Qura University, Al-Lith, Makkah, Saudi Arabia. He spent some years in the Faculty of Engineering, Multimedia University, Cyberjaya, Malaysia. His research interests are in the area of digital image processing, computer vision, artificial intelligence, machine learning, and IoT in their various applications. He obtained PhD from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2011 in the area of digital image processing for industrial applications by employing artificial inteligence approach.
