Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) University in Palembang has launched the UIGM Scholarship for International Students program for the 2026 academic year.
This scholarship program is designed not merely as financial aid for education, but as a strategic effort by the university to expand its presence on the international stage. Through this initiative, young talents from various countries have the opportunity to pursue a quality education at one of the best private universities in Sumatra.
The application process itself is scheduled to run for three months, from April to June 2026, through the official channels provided by the university.
The university emphasizes that the selected international students will not only focus on academic activities in the classroom but will also be actively involved in learning about local culture.
The city of Palembang, with its long history as a center of civilization, is offered as a social laboratory for international students to understand traditional values and economic opportunities at the heart of Sumatra. This integration of international curriculum and local wisdom is expected to provide a unique and memorable study experience for program participants.
To ensure the comfort of international students during their studies, IGM University offers a highly comprehensive scholarship package. This scholarship scheme includes full tuition waiver (free tuition), provision of free accommodation, and a monthly cost-of-living subsidy.
This comprehensive financial support is intended to help international students adapt quickly without being burdened by financial concerns during their stay in Palembang.
In addition to the technical aspects of the scholarship, the university has also established an International Office team to guide students through the administrative process, from registration to handling residency documents. Further information regarding this program is transparently available on the official website www.uigm.ac.id or via email at [email protected]. (andhiko ta)
