Kamis, 12 Mei 2022

THE Impact Rankings 2022 is for ranking the best universities based on the success rate of higher education institutions by implementing the 17 categories of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This year, 1,406 Universities from 106 countries and regions were in the fourth edition of THE Impact Rankings. Each university can have a different focus on the SDGs.
Vice Rector III of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) Prof. Erry Yulian T Adesta confirms that Universitas IGM would prepare to be a part of a world-class university ranking.

To realize it, we will form a team to follow up. We are optimistic that we will be a part of Impact Ranking next year. We can compete because we are not behind other universities in Indonesia. Our quality can get ahead," he said in a Discussion Meeting on The World University Impact Rankings, in the third floor Hall, B campus, Universitas IGM, Tuesday (10/5/2022).
For each university that submits data on SDG-17, at least 3 other categories of SDGs can be included in the overall ranking. SDG-17 weighs 22 percent and the other 3 SDGs weigh 26 percent each. The ranking indicator of THE Impact Rankings 2022 measures universities by research, services, reach of application, and teaching.
The research indicators measure related campus research and implementation of the 17 categories of SDGs. What must be met is the Partnership category. Lecturers must meet this," he noted.
He hopes with the excellent quality of IGM educators currently, they must immediately prepare their abilities to make Universitas IGM becomes the best educational institution in Indonesia, and even in the world.
The educator doesn't only teach in the classroom. By upholding the Three Pillars of Higher Education optimally, then you can become a real educator" he concluded. (Andhiko Tungga Alam/Dzulfiqor Ammar)
