Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) University is proud to fully support the aspiration program which is the result of collaboration between the TNI and a number of universities in South Sumatra.
This program aims to develop regional economic potential through various innovations that can improve the welfare of local communities.
In the event that took place recently, the Head of the IGM University Cooperation Bureau, Dr. Hj Tien Yustini, S.E., M.Si, was also present directly to show his commitment to supporting this program. Her participation in this activity also illustrates the readiness of IGM University to continue to contribute to regional development, especially in the fields of education and community empowerment.
One of the main agendas in this activity was a visit to the TNI Aspiration Park Kodam II / Sriwijaya. This park is the result of hard work and innovation from the military who succeeded in creating an open space that is not only beneficial for the environment, but also as a symbol of synergy between the TNI, universities, and the community. Taman Aspirasi is a clear example of positive collaboration that can produce programs that have a direct impact on the local economy.
Through this program, the community is invited to play an active role, especially in a sustainable Urban Farming program. Urban Farming is one of the solutions to improve food security and create new economic opportunities in urban areas, involving people from all walks of life.
The Rector of IGM University, represented by Dr. Hj. Tien Yustini, expressed readiness to continue to be involved in every stage of this program, and hopes to contribute to creating more opportunities for people in South Sumatra. This cooperation between the TNI, universities, and the community is a clear example of how important cross-sector collaboration is in creating sustainable positive change, he concluded.
