Universitas IGM and Universitas PGRI Host Entrepreneurship Coaching for Students

In an effort to foster entrepreneurial awareness among students, lecturers and students from Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) collaborated with Universitas PGRI Palembang to organise an entrepreneurship workshop on Tuesday, 30th July, at the Theatre Hall, C Building of Universitas IGM.
The workshop aimed to enhance students' knowledge and skills in business management, focusing on financial management, administration, production, and marketing.
The workshop brought the person in charge of P2MW Universitas PGRI Palembang Zahruddin Hodsay, S.Pd, MM, C.LMA, C.MMI, C.FR, C.FTax who discussed Financial Management and Business Administration and Rizka Yuriantika, S.Ds who shared her experience on how to improve product design to increase product sales value. Rizka Yuriantika herself is an alumnus of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri from the Visual Communication Design Study Programme.
Zahruddin Hodsay highlighted the importance of students efficiently managing the funds they receive through the Program Pembinaan Mahasiswa Wirausaha (P2MW) grants from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology of the Republic of Indonesia.
"This sharing session is intended to help students gain valuable benefits and compete in the increasingly competitive business environment," he said to the attending students.
In addition, this programme also raised the relationship between Universitas PGRI Palembang and Universitas Indo Global Mandiri. Zahruddin underlined the importance of collaboration between educational institutions and industries. "Through close partnerships, we can better understand market needs and prepare graduates who are ready to face the competitive job market," he added.
Meanwhile, Try Wulandari, S.E., M.Fin, Head of the Student Affairs Division at Universitas IGM, noted that the event not only improved students entrepreneurial skills but also encourages an entrepreneurial spirit among the younger generation, inspiring them to develop their potential in the business world. "With strong collaboration between educational institutions and industries, we hope to create a generation ready to face challenges and seize opportunities in entrepreneurship," she concluded.
