The implementation of the Introduction to Campus Life for New Students (PKKMB) on the first day, Wednesday (13/9) was carried out fully online.

Eventhough the new students will meet face-to-face on the second day, Thursday (14/9), almost all lecturers, employees and staff of Universitas IGM attended the event which was centred on the third floor hall of the Sudirman Campus.

On the first day, the Rector of Universitas IGM, besides giving a welcome speech to new students, also provided material about higher education in Indonesia, which was followed by a video screening of National Defence.

In addition to the rector, the material presentation was also given by the Vice Rector III of UIGM, Prof Erry Yulian T Adesta, P.hD who gave a review of universities in the era of the Industrial revolution 4.0 and society 5.0.

After ice breaking games and quizzes, the presentation of environmental awareness, risk management and healthy campus material to become a campus based on sustainable development delivered by Prof Dr Iis Sopyan FAIC, FIMM.

For academic procedures, new students also received a detailed and complete explanation delivered by Vice Rector I Dr Sumi Amariena Hamim, ST, MT, IPM, ASEAN Eng.

At the end of the session, each Bureau such as BAKBK, BAU, BAK, BPT, BPP, and LPPMKP also gave a presentation which would be useful for new students during their education at Universitas IGM (andhiko tungga alam/dzulfiqor ammar).
