The Government Study Programme at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) has organised a seminar titled "IDS X: Developing Public Speaking and Personal Characteristics to Enhance Student Leadership."

Dwiki Adi Putri, M.Si, Head of the Government Study Programme at Universitas IGM, explained that the seminar was held in collaboration with the Ikatan Duta Sekolah (School Ambassador Association) of South Sumatra.

He considered this seminar serves as a platform for students to improve their capabilities, particularly in public speaking and leadership development. "Public speaking and leadership skills are essential for todays youth, especially with the increasing need for these soft skills in the workplace," Dwiki remarked.

Moreover, this kind of training is a unique offering of the Government Studies Programme at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri.

The seminar attracted over 100 representatives from various high schools, vocational schools, and Islamic senior high schools (MAN) across South Sumatra. Dwiki noted that this could become a regular event, for continuously honing students skills.
