Rector Reminds Graduates: I Won't Approve If Any Alumni Gets Involved in Crime, Especially Corruption
Senin, 04 Desember 2023
Rector of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM), Dr H Marzuki Alie hopes that every alumi, especially those who have just graduated, can continue to look after the good name of the campus and alma mater wherever they are.
He said that the graduation that has been passed today is not the end of the learning process. But this is the beginning of a journey in living life ahead, arranging a better future, successfully realising dreams. The knowledge gained through lectures so far is the basic capital in living life outside the campus. The challenges of the world outside the campus are much more diverse in quality and quantity as well as the level of difficulty.
Show your parents and the community that this institution must be preserved, he added.
He also warned all alumni not to get involved in criminality or corrupt practices. I do not agree if any of our alumni are involved in corruption cases. I have served as a leader, but I am not tempted to do that. Because we must look after the good name of the family, he said.
Therefore, he suggests that the knowledge acquired should be used for good deeds and become a blessing for oneself and family. (andhiko tungga alam/dzulfiqor ammar)
