The 2024 academic year will begin soon, and Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) is currently conducting selection interviews for hundreds of new students candidate before they start their studies at one of the top universities in Sumatra.

Try Wulandari, S.E., M.Fin, Head of the Student Affairs Divison at Universitas IGM, explained that a total of 503 students are undergoing interview selection, having previously completed the document screening process.

"We are also assessing candidates who are eligible for the KIP Kuliah scholarship," she noted during the selection process.

The interviews are being conducted at several locations, including the 2nd, 4th, and 6th floors of Building B at the Sudirman Campus, starting from Monday, 19 August. According to Wulan, for the file verification process, Universitas IGM stressed the commitment of the students to complete their studies on time with a good GPA.

"We ask about their family background, their parents' occupations, and their interest in the study programme theyve chosen. We want to ensure that their selected programme aligns with their aspirations," she explained.

After passing the interview steps, student candidates at Universitas IGM are required to take a written test, scheduled for a later date. (andhiko ta/dzulfiqor ammar)
