Several Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) students became delegates in some sports at the South Sumatra XVI Provincial Sports Week (Porprov) held in Lahat Regency from 17-25 September 2023.

For example, Rifqi Sukma Putra, a student of the Informatics study program Faculty of Computer Science who participated in the 50-meter compound class archery competition, and Nur Fadhila Ramadhanti, a student of the Computer System study program Faculty of Computer Science who will participate in the 10-meter air riffle woman youth class shooting championship.

The two archery and shooter athletes successfully represented their respective cities/districts after successfully passed the selection conducted by the selection committee of each city/Regency.

In addition, Dania, a student of the Government Science study program, also participated in Porprov South Sumatra for Pencak Silat (martial arts).

Rifqi said he was happy after qualifying for the selection and becoming a representative of archery athletes representing Palembang City. He hopes to bring home the best results.

Meanwhile, the Head of BKABK UIGM, Drs. RM. Rum Hendarmin, Ak, MM, PIA, CA, CSRS said he proud of the achievements of the two athletes who have been selected as provincial sports delegation.
