Kamis, 13 Februari 2025
The first day of Open Campus 2025 #BeyondYourFuture at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM) was lively with high enthusiasm from participants and invited guests.
Vice Rector III for Planning and Cooperation, Dr. Dr. Tien Yustini, M.S., expressed gratitude for the high interest of visitors in this activity. Alhamdulillah, the implementation of Open Campus 2025 was very crowded. We thank all elements who have attended, especially BSI Bank which is the main sponsor in this activity, she said.
According to Tien, the presence of tenants from various sectors participating in this event, provides an opportunity for prospective students and the general public to get to know more about UIGM with a variety of faculties and study programs offered. UIGM has been actively visiting schools to promote its campus, but on this occasion, the university invited them to see firsthand the facilities and potential of UIGM.
He also said that Open Campus 2025 is also part of UIGM's steps in realizing a technopreneur-based campus. Various study programs and faculties actively participated, along with students and lecturers, as well as guests from various regions such as Banyuasin Regency and its surroundings. All activities took place smoothly and enthusiastically.
This event will take place over the next five days, with various interesting events including competitions and educational seminars. The public and prospective students are invited to attend until the last day to get a deeper insight into the potential of education and entrepreneurship at UIGM, she explained.
Tien said that as the inaugural event, Open Campus 2025 is one of UIGM's flagship strategies in introducing the campus to the wider community. Not only stopping at this event, UIGM is also committed to continuing to encourage the strengthening of local wisdom from various regional cultures, especially in an effort to increase Palembang City's Regional Original Revenue (PAD). To achieve this, support for campus facilities and infrastructure continues to be pursued in order to expand the reach of education and innovation. So we do not only aim to produce graduates who are oriented towards becoming civil servants, but also encourage students to become successful entrepreneurs with high creativity, he concluded.
