As one of the best educational institutions in Indonesia, Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) still prioritizes the progress of its students in every aspect.

Not only academics but non-academic development is also the main focus for students to become individuals who are ready to jump into society and have high morals. One of the ways is through counseling services for Universitas IGM students.

Universitas IGM counselor Nodylia Dwi Rizki, S.Psi said this counseling unit provides advice to students according to their needs, such as advice to change the perception of students who have taken unsuitable majors and other problems.

The terms concerned are still registered as active students at Universitas IGM, UIGM students candidates who would like to consult regarding majors based on interests, and lecturers of Universitas IGM, said Nodylia, Thursday (9/3/2023).

While providing services, she explained, it will be implemented with the individual and group methods in accordance with the code of ethics of psychology.

She said in 2022, there were at least 12 students who were counseled (individually) and more than 200 people who participated in the group method. Most consultations were about academic problems in the program, family problems such as finances, and mental health problems.

We still encourage and welcome IGM students or lecturers who want to consult. Especially for KIP students who have a low GPA each semester, we also reach out with counseling, she ended. (andhiko tungga alam/dzulfiqor ammar)
