Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) is increasingly improving the quality of education and learning for lecturers.

A workshop on writing and research proposals for lecturers is one of the ways. This is an annual agenda of the Institute for Research and Community Service of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri as a strategy to increase the lecturers' competence in preparing to win the DRTPM Research and Community Service grant of the Ministry of Education Research and Technology 2024.

Head of Head of Institutes for Research, Community Service, and Literature (LPPMK) Universitas IGM, Dr Shinta Puspasari, S.Si, M.Kom said, to improve lecturers' insights and knowledge, Universitas IGM invited speakers to share experiences and strategies for winning research and community service grants that were successful in 2023.

Workshop was conducted to provide training to Universitas IGM lecturers to optimise the research provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research and Technology. Funding from the DRTPM Kemdikbudristek source promises a significant amount to support the implementation of Research and PKM of Universitas IGM lecturers in 2024, she explained.

She added that research and PKM are part of the three pillars responsibility and performance indicators of lecturers. The quality of research will affect the quality of teaching for students to produce competent, competitive and entrepreneurial graduates. The innovations produced by lecturers through research will have an impact on the competence of students who are currently required to be involved in lecturer research through the MBKM programme.
