Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) has once again organized the 2024 Thematic Community Service Program (KKNT).

A total of 186 students will be stationed in 10 villages across the Lembak District, Muaraenim Regency, from July 3 to August 7, 2024.

These students were officially sent off by Dr. Hj. Asmawati, the Trustee of Yayasan Indo Global Mandiri , during a ceremony held on the Universitas IGM campus.

Dr. Fauzia Afriyani, S.Pd., M.Si, Chair of KKNT 2024 at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri, stated that the program allows students to integrate and engage with the local communities, providing the best service based on their skills and abilities.

"We hope that KKNT 2024 will run smoothly and successfully, bringing benefits for all of us," she said.

The theme for this years Thematic Community Service is "Faculty of Economics and Urban and Regional Planning Study Program; Human Capital Development, Tourism, and Digitalization as Pillars of Local Economic Sustainability." The 186 students participating include 108 from the Management Program, 44 from the Accounting Program, and 33 from the Urban and Regional Planning (PWK) Program.

In addition, 37 lecturers will also be involved, providing guidance on-site during the KKNT, she added. (andhiko ta/dzulfiqor ammar)
