The Ministry of Communications and Informatics of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) conducted another webinar on the national digital literacy movement in 2023.
Public Senior High School (SMA) Negeri 1 Indralaya, Ogan Ilir District (OI) was chosen as the first location for the webinar. This digital literacy activity will last until next December, said Regional Leader Digital of the Ministry of Communications and Informatics for the Jambi and South Sumatra regions Isabella, S.I.P, M.S.i, Saturday (4/3/2023).
According to her, the webinar brings the Indonesian people to know and understand what cyberbullying is, considering that this kind of treatment can significantly impact the victim. In addition, many cyberbullying cases eventually happen in the school environment.
The UIGM Government Science lecturer and Head of the UIGM Cooperation Bureau also got the responsibility to serve as the Regional Leader of Digital Literacy from Kominfo RI for the second time.
There are many agendas that we will organise and initiate. Indeed, we hope that implementing digital literacy this year will have more impact on society so that they can improve their digital literacy skills to keep up with the fast-growing progress of information technology, she explained.
The topic we raised is Know the Types of Cyberbullying in Cyberspace, said Suryati Ali, the Runner of Digital Literacy in the South Sumatra Area.
Interestingly, for people who might be interested in participating, said Suryati, this webinar is 100% free, which means that there is no registration fee. Moreover, each participant will get an E-certificate from the Ministry of Communications and Informatics. And just like years before, this webinar has attractive voucher prizes for ten lucky participants. (andhiko tungga alam/dzulfiqor ammar)
