Assalamualaikum warahmatullahi wabarakatuh,
Peace be upon us all,
Om swastiastu,
Namo buddhaya,
Salam kebajikan

My brothers and sisters,
Over the past three years, great changes have taken place around us, everywhere from the west to the east end of Indonesia.
The 24 episodes of Merdeka Belajar that have been launched bring us closer to Ki Hadjar Dewantara's grand ideals, which is education that guides students' talents, interests, and potential to reach salvation and happiness as human beings and as a part of society.
Our children can now learn more confidently as their learning activities are assessed holistically by their own teachers. Principals and regional chiefs who used to have difficulty monitoring the quality of their education can now use the National Assessment data on the Education Report Card Platform to improve the quality of education services.
Teachers are now competing to share and work with the presence of the Merdeka Belajar Platform. In addition, teachers who were once bound by various strict regulations are now more free to innovate in the classroom with the existence of the Merdeka Curriculum.
In line with the Merdeka Curriculum, which focuses on in-depth learning to develop character and competence, the selection of state universities now focuses on measuring literacy and reasoning skills.
At the higher education level, students who used only to learn theory in the classroom can now travel the world to seek knowledge and experience outside the campus with the presence of Independent Campus programs.
Regarding the financial aspect, the direct sourcing of School Operational Assistance (BOS) and Education Operational Assistance (BOP) funds and their more flexible utilization have given schools the flexibility to improve the quality of learning.
With the scholarship program expanded, the opportunity to continue education to the university level is now more open. The support of grants to fund research has also led to many collaborative innovations.
In addition, a flexible funding mechanism can accommodate the creative ideas of artists and cultural practitioners to produce great works that support the promotion of culture.
Dear brothers and sisters, remember that we have made a new history with the Freedom to Learn movement. This massive transformation should be celebrated gratefully and joyfully because everything comes from our hard work and cooperation.
This year's National Education Day is the right time for us to reflect on every challenge that has been faced and every bold step that has been taken.
By reflecting on what we have done over the past three years, we can design the direction of our journey ahead to ensure the continuity and sustainability of Freedom to Learn
The sails we have raised must not be rolled up again. All of us, educators and educational personnel, artists and cultural practitioners, as well as students throughout the Nusantara, are the captains of this great ship called Indonesia.
We must carry on the journey and keep up the struggle for all the nation's children to experience true freedom in learning and aspiring.
Therefore, let us celebrate this day with the spirit to carry on the realization of Freedom to Learn, Educate Pancasila Students who are smart with character, and bring Indonesia to jump into the future with liberating education.
Happy National Education Day.
Thank you
