Boost Small Micro Medium Enterprises Economy Post-Covid, Master of Management Universitas IGM Ready to Develop the Cooperatives

Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) participated in cooperative development and protection activities organised by the Palembang City Government through the Palembang City Office of Cooperatives and Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs).
This program, cooperatives are expected to grow and develop in the post-COVID-19 community environment that affected the community last year. Consequently, the economic level of the community has decreased.
The programme, which was conducted at Grand Atyasa, was attended by 90 participants from 18 sub-districts in Palembang City. The participants were representatives of productive economic community groups, such as PKK, Majelis Taklim, Paguyuban, Kube, as well as other registered groups in local sub-districts and villages.
The Mayor's Staff for Economic Development and Investment, dr. Hj Letizia, M.Kes, appreciated the Palembang City Cooperative and SME Office for its efforts in growing and developing cooperatives in line with regulations of Law No. 25 of 1992 on cooperatives.
The Head of the Palembang City Cooperative and SME Office, Sulhijawati, S.E., M.Si., said that the sustainability of cooperatives supports the vision and mission of Palembang Emas Darussalam 2023, which is to realise an innovative, creative and competitive people's economy.
The Head of Master of Management (MM) Study Program at Universitas IGM, Dr. Tien Yustini, S.E., M.Si, ensured that Universitas IGM was ready to transfer knowledge, understanding, and open people's insights about cooperatives as a forum for improving the economy and prosperity of society.
