Universitas Indo Global Mandiri alumni win Sabu Raijua Regent Election 2024-2025

Krisman Riwu Kore, SE, MM, who is a Graduate in Master of Management from Universitas Indo Global Mandiri (UIGM), has won the most votes in the election of the Regent of Sabu Raijua, East Nusa Tenggara Province for the period 2024-2025.
The election was officially announced by the Sabu Raijua Regional General Election Commission (KPUD) on Monday (4/12/2023).
However, this result brought a positive impact to the Universitas Indo Global Mandiri academics. Krisman's success adds to the long list of alumni of the university under the Indo Global Mandiri (IGM) Foundation.
With this success, Krisman Riwu Kore expressed his gratitude and thanks to the people of Sabu Raijua who have given him the trust to lead this district. This is a great responsibility, and I am committed to building Sabu Raijua to be more advanced and wealthy. Support from the community and collaboration with various parties will be the key to our success, Krisman said.
Krisman Riwu Kore completed his Master of Management studies at Universitas Indo Global Mandiri with outstanding academic achievements. His academic and professional experience has been a major asset in his political journey. He is known as an innovative, integrity, and dedicated figure in developing the district.
The Rector of Universitas Indo Global Mandiri, Dr H Marzuki Alie, also congratulated him on this achievement. We are very proud to have alumni like Krisman Riwu Kore who are able to bring positive reputation to the university and make real contributions to the community. Hopefully his leadership will bring positive changes to Sabu Raijua, said UIGM Rector.
Meanwhile, Sabu Raijua Regent and Vice Regent candidate number 2, Krisman Riwu Kore-Thobias Uly (Kristo Package) successfully won in 6 sub-districts in Sabu Raijua Regency in the 27 November elections. The vote recapitulation has been approved by Sabu Raijua KPU on Monday (2/12).
Mr Kristo won over his two competitors, Yohanis Uly Kale-Leonidas Adoe (Gold Package) and Simon Dira Tome-Dominikus Dadi Lado (Solid). The valid votes received by the KPU were 45,423 thousand. Out of the total votes, Mr Kristo received 21,153 votes, followed by Mr Solid with 14,191 votes and Mr Gold with 10,079 votes. (andhiko ta/dzulfiqor ammar)
