The Board of Trustees for Education and Advocacy of Karya Muda Foundation, Dr. Ir Endy Agustian initiated a visit to Biruku Indonesia Foundation.
This visit is a form of Karya Muda Foundation's concern for inclusive education and the welfare of people with disabilities in Bandung.
According to Endy, this activity is a form of friendship, as well as appreciating the talents of people with disabilities, and providing social support for the community. The visit was filled with various inspirational activities.
He explained that those at the Biruku Indonesia Foundation have great potential in terms of music, vocals and modeling. "We must embrace these disabled friends. Not only that, they also received socialization about the inclusive education program implemented at Biruku Indonesia School," he said.
Endy explained that during the visit, a social service was also carried out in the form of food distribution as a form of support for the disability community. We want to establish a close relationship between Karya Muda Foundation and Biruku Indonesia Foundation, he said.
Inclusive education itself, continued Endy, is a principle that ensures every individual, including persons with disabilities, has equal access to education without discrimination. With activities like this, it is hoped that public awareness of the importance of inclusive education will increase, and be able to encourage the creation of a more friendly and supportive environment for all.
"It is time for us to eliminate discrimination against friends with disabilities. They have the same rights to education, recognition, and equal opportunities in various aspects of life. Through this activity, we learn to continue to be grateful and appreciate every individual with all their potential," he said.
Meanwhile, the Head of Biruku Indonesia Foundation, Ibu Juju, explained that the foundation she leads focuses on empowering and developing the skills of people with disabilities. Through education and training programs, the foundation seeks to provide wider access for them to develop and contribute to society.
Chairman of Karya Muda Foundation M. Raju Sahrian, S. Kep., Ners added, with various programs run, the foundation is committed to creating a more open and supportive educational environment for all groups, including people with disabilities. (andhiko ta)
